Right now he's temporarily in a 29 gallon hex by himself..he's about 6 to 7 inches long.....He was in my 150 gallon tank with a 5 inch flowerhorn and a 5 inch zaliosum....This went over like a Bar Mitzvah on the West Bank...all three are fearless and it was similar to a cheap western saloon fight with all being dominate......He will soon be in a 110 gallon tank though...and, thanks for the kind reply...

once upon a time my doviis spawned very healthy but my pair came down with this nasty ick, luckily i took out the fry out when they were free swimming and so they didn't get the ick. but the parents pasted on some really cool genes.

how do you know about 9 and gratiot, you've must of been here before, in fact that's just around the corner from where i live.

My Dovii will be in the 110 by this weekend...my big red devil is going into a spawning tank with a couple of females.....my wife lived on Tuscany off of nine mile rd @ gratiot....I was born in Royal Oak but raised here in the sunny south which I claim as home.....I have relatives in Ann Arbor, none left in East Detroit/East pointe now, some in Saline and also in a few other "yankee" villages up yonder....LOL...there is a great pet shop off of nine mile road though if you haven't been there?....

you're prob. referring about greenwood. I go there occasionally to see what they have but they really haven't been stocking up on anything nowadays.

yep...it was greenwood....I usually go there everytime I go visit...but, as you said, they haven't had much there the last two times I've been...there was also one near my wife's uncle's house...he lives on the lake...(St. Clair).....there was also one near Livonia called "Cichlid World" that was great and one called "Lurks Beneath The Seas"......also used to buy large "trade ins" on Gratiot?

the one in livonia called cichlid world is by far one of the better cichlid stores around in the s.e. michigan area. I've been there alot of times, and they always have good help there, very knowledgable as well. In fact you can just go on their website and check out what they have in stock. its cichlidworld.net its always updated once a week, they've got really cool cichlids there unlike other LFS.
