<  Amphilophus (like Midas and Trimac) Talk  ~  Amphilophus zaliosus

Here is my Amphilophus zaliosus, chunkiest male I have ever seen or that you will ever see. Never relized they got humps this big until I grew him out.

I haven't needed to use photo bucket in almost a year since most other forums have fiqued it so you can upload directly from your computer. Might want to look into that. Anyway, enjoy. Cool

Yeah, he does. I am really proud of him. All others I have seen are only half as thick and no hump. I hope to show him at the ACA next year.

He is a nice looking fish. I didn't realize that they get humps on the head. Aren't they suppose to be the most aggressive of the three? I am tallking Red Devil, and Midas. I heard that the Zaliosus was more aggressive...

When it comes to fish, I beleive so. I have yet to have him try and bite me yet. I am currently in the process of getting a mate for him. Would get some nice fry from him.
