As for which species is the largest well

Cichla ocellaris - 74.0 cm

Cichla monoculus - 70.0 cm

Cichla temensis - 99.0 cm

Cichla orinocensis - 61.7 cm

Cichla will out grow tanks, ive seen pics of peoples that were over 18" and the tank wasnt overly large. I myself had a 15" about two years ago, sadly hes the last one ive seen over 3" Crying or Very sad

thanks for answers and my next question is do any cichla grow more than 1 m for example in nature or the sizes that you wrote are the sizes of them in aquarium ???????

nice photo but the fish in it isn't a cichlid especialy from cichla group

The sizes i put where for wild fish, thats not saying they cant or dont get larger tho

I've seen Umbriferums at two feet, I've seen Dovii over 19 inches....I have a Red Devil about 15-16 inches, HighFive has a red devil about that size or larger....the Peacock Eye Bass grows very large as the pics show...
