<  Amphilophus (like Midas and Trimac) Talk  ~  A lil help please?

What other cichlids should i put in a tank with a midas? I am building a 350 gallon tank and need some help on with what fish I should put in a tank with him. I would like about 6 fish in this tank , so if you have any info please help.

well i would put a jag maybe a dovi a male con could fend for hisself a trimac is nice too.

Wow! Such a huge tank! Very Happy I wish I had once a tank like that!

Some Oscars may be too shy and Midas may beat them... Of course there's aggressive Oscars too. I think Jack Dempsey Cichlid would have temperament enough.. Yes, but you never know forewards if those fish you buy didn't get along. It's always about personalities. But Trimac, Dempsy, Oscar, Umbiferus, Red Terror, Dovii, Manaquense, Motaquense etc. would be good company to Midas.

agreed with all of you...with that huge of a tank you can put more cichlids in the tank when they're juvie's but when full grow i think six of them will be good...if you want midas...then try to get a true RD.

Dovii....ofcourse all males, they will look better in the tank...unless you decidde to breed. Have fun.
