Great site here. Very Happy Amphilophus is probably among my favorite of all cichlids. Very Happy here are some of mine...

A. robertsoni ~6" I have always believed this to be a female and she's probably around 4+ yrs old now...my oldest fish. she killed the smaller robertsoni above her in the pic. Sad

My new pride and joy...~8" pure male A. trimaculatus. Gonna be a showstopper when he gets even bigger. Very Happy

pet store red devil. he's only about 3" in the pic but probably closer to 6" now. will get some more recent pics whenever I can. Smile

another pet store red devil. I got this one around the same time as the one above and this one's only about 4" now. I'm thinking due to the slow growth this is probably a female.

my old pride and joy, my A. festae breeding pair. male is about 10" and female is probably around 7".

the last of my Amphilophus...a female Costa Rican red face barred midas. she at one point had paired up with the white red devil pictured above.

Very Happy

Hi and welcome!

your trimac and festae pictures are very nice! My fave fish is Amphilophus Trimaculatus, too. Do you want that your trimac breed?

Should be a good father!

Greetings Ray
