<  Flower Horn Cichlid & Hybrids  ~  DIFFERENCES BETWEEN .....

WHAT ARE THE DIFERENCES BETWEEN FLOWER HORN AND A TRIMAC BECAUSE I'VE GOT SOME SUGESTIONS BUT I DON'T KNOW ARE THEY TRUE

From what I have heard:

Flower Horns are hybrids, Trimacs are Cichlasoma trimaculatum, a central american cichlid.

Could be wrong

Yip , flowerhorns are cross breed between Amphilophus Species or other central american cichlids like Vieja Species. Amphilophus trimaculatus is in there very often!

I prefer the orginal Smile or catfish Hybrid! Sorry catcichlid Laughing Laughing

you hadn't understand me god i mean the diferences in look beetwen fh and trimac how to recognise the trimac and the fh not diferences that one is a hybrid i know it very good

Where in this did you specify that you were talking about PHYSICAL differences???? Rolling Eyes

When it comes to FH's they can look very differently

i know this diferences but there are other species of fhs' and they are very similar to trimacs and i don't know is it fh or trimac . i wanted to know does trimacs have pearl sclaes i would send a photo but i don't know how to do it Embarassed
