from my opinion, is a flower horn, but sorry to say that, not a very high grade fish.

Yes I would also say that it is a low grade FH.

PS you get better results by taking pics with no flash

haha, may be the fish is considered good FH in Poland. Since I am from Malaysia, my expectation for this fish is very high. We have very nice FH in Malaysia currently..

i know that you have very nice fhs in malaysia because you prodcue them there but i don't really care about your expectation about fh no metter how beautyfull they are they are a hybrid and a hybrid won't be never better than nature belive that if only i could buy trmiac i would bought it but it isn't possible now and one more thing if you want buy better fh in poland yoy can do i t but not in my town my town is small only 80 thousand of people in bigger tonws you can buy it

Trust me, take the pic without flash and with the tank lighted from the top, Also, it would be better if the camera is slightly angled compared to the glass

hi kohaku,

yip I think Malaysian flowerhorn´s are very high quality! Breeders from your land are top in arowana, flowerhorn and cichlid breeding. But here in the cold Europe you can't buy your great fish and we must keep fish from Thailand etc. I like sebastians fh too, i like trimacs and trimac hybrids Wink

Greetings from germany

Yeah I have a TERRIBLE camera too Laughing

What I usually do to compensate for the bad quality of my camera is I either use an extra light strip over the tank or a worklight like this one:

The first picture looks to have flowerhorns with strong Trimac blood in them due to the shape and coloration. The pearls are what throw off the original Trimac in these fish.

The second picture is definitely a flowerhorn as most of the body is covered in red and there is some slight pearling around the body.

The third picture looks more like a Trimac but there is also a cross over.

Please help me also. I've always thought my fish was a flowerhorn, but now I have some doubts in whether my fish is a flowerhorn or a trimac. Here he is

I've raised this fish ever since it was a fry. I THINK his father was a trimac, but his mother is a flowerhorn. This fish was given to me as a fry, so I am unsure. Please help me identify him.
