Haha, thank you for that. It was fun to watch.

My Midas does the same thing to the sypher. But once the water gets half way empty he will back off and stay quiet in his corner Smile

BTW nice colorings on your fish. (you should enter a picture in the POTM contest) Smile

Thanks guys! Smile

The video is 2 months old, now she is nearly all yellow... But I can take some new pics and add her for the competition!

You think it's rd? I have thought it's half midas, half hogaboomorus or rd or something.. Pure midas it isn't.. But I think it's not pure red devil either?

I've got four young pure midas in another aquarium... I think I should take some pics of them!

Nice video. Was that a Simese Tiger fish (Datnoid) that you have in your tank. If so, how do you manage that. He seems to not be too bother by living in the tank with cichlids. I like datnoids and would like to something like that myself. What is the secret. Is the Datnoid stressed out. Do you feed him live fish? What size tank do you have him in? Do you think I could do something like that with a 300 gallon tank?

For questions like that you should make your own post Wink you would get alot of help!

Yes a 300 gallon tank would be great for one.
They eat the same diet as most others, 90% cichlid pellets treats of any of these, once a week:
earthworms, crickets, blood worms, krill...
I don't suggest feeding feeder fish that in my own opinion.
A 300 gallon tank set up would be nice to see
2 of those beauties and a school od silver dollars!
They are no different taking care of than Midas or Red devils.

Ahem... The gravel is all clear. There's english river gravel, black bazalt gravel and normal fine gravel mixed!!!!
