well the tank specs are; 100 gallon 4 foot tank, gravel varying in size up to 3/4 inch, light colored quartz sand, power head 901, Hagen 800 power head, marine land penguin 1450 power head driving a bio wheel pro 30 setup, and a via aqua 750 three stage filtration canister filter. first stage is a layer of small pieces of lava rock followed by an open cell cut to fit puce of foam. second stage is charcoal followed by filter hair. third stage is ceramic bio media. i float all my tanks on a piece of Styrofoam about one inch thick, that sits on top of the stand. the foam helps relieve stresses of a slightly uneven floor. the plants are of course silk. and the rocks are the most interesting type of lace rock, lots of colours and textures in it. the lighting is two 48" Flora glow bulbs and two coralife colour max bulbs. the tank has a glass lid. the setup has a simple piece of Styrofoam to block the light into the tank. (for now) Very Happy oh and the tank has ben running for four years now.

Jake will attack me at any and every chance he gets nest or no nest!! he is very bad. Evil or Very Mad except he seems to tolerate his girl. he even tries to deek me out so he can bite me when my hand is in there.

well for what I'm feeding them has been an issue for a few years now!! since they WON'T eat anything dead, like only things that are alive witch has ben a major problem!!!! so now they get fed night crawlers, moths, crickets with the legs removed, and the only frozen food they will except frozen uncooked zipper backed prawns!! to believe that they wont even touch the little cubes of prepared lfs!! this food isn't good enough!!

You need to starve them a little, they should be on a staple of cichlid pellets with some fresh food mixed in.
