green monkey is a name they use for certain types of kamfa i believe. it is just a name someone has given that type of flowerhorn. they are nice looking for sure. how big are they currently? do they share a tank? how long have you had them?

Nice fish. I heard live food will make the fish want to breed. I suggest you feed them with live food (what I found at LFS is shrimpt, snakehead, betta and koi), change lot of water everyweek, supply strong air pump... and wait. Good luck man.

well a pleco will be safe, but anything else is all up to how aggressive your male is.
i would exorcise extreme caution when feeding live foods. a lot of the time they carry parasites that wont be noticed till they have a strong hold in your fish. then, they will prove to be difficult if not impossible to remove. if i may advise, start your own group of guppies make sure they are healthy and live in clean water. they will breed quickly. or you could use convicts, or even some types of geophagus. just make sure they are disease free.
