<  Amphilophus (like Midas and Trimac) Talk  ~  breeding stunt growth?

does breeding stunt growth? Ive had alot of breeding pair of cichlids. i dont think i really effects the male but do you guys notice the female that lays eggs every two weeks stay alot smaller? does this have to do with her producting eggs and not growing? Just wanted to know if you guys have the same exp. thanks

definetly breeding stunt gorwing but only in case of female males are growing normaly
